About me

With a unique foundation in both architecture and engineering, I can bring a holistic perspective to the design and delivery of buildings and infrastructure projects. With both a Bachelor of Engineering and a Diploma in Architecture, I am equipped with the technical knowledge to bridge design and engineering. Worked in both construction and consultancy environments with experience in ACMV design, BIM, building codes and project coordination. Pursuing a career in mechanical engineering alongside an MSc in Mechanical Engineering to deepen my expertise and to pursue my goal of becoming a Professional Engineer (Mechanical). Driven by a passion for buildings, infrastructure, and the built environment.

As a BIM and MEP Design Engineer, I contributed to infrastructure and transit projects by developing and parameterizing ACMV Revit Families—including duct fittings, accessories, and mechanical equipment—while translating ASHRAE duct fitting database information into functional BIM components. I supported the implementation and troubleshooting of new BIM models and workflows to enhance project efficiency. In parallel, I participated in the design of Environmental Control Systems (ECS), performing duct sizing, static pressure calculations, and selecting fans and attenuators. I applied SS 553 and LTA/NEA Codes of Practice for acoustic treatment, integrated fire code requirements including compartmentation and protected shafts, and interpreted architectural intent to design ACMV systems tailored to ventilation modes, air classification, and spatial usage across public and back-of-house areas
